See how your documents are protected
Explore interactive examples of our fingerprinting technology. Each document receives unique, invisible marks that are impossible to remove.
Choose a protection level
Select a level and see how fingerprint layers are applied to your document in real time.
In real documents, the fingerprints are completely invisible to the naked eye. Here they are exaggerated for demonstration.
Simplified simulation — actual fingerprints are invisible in the final document.
Technologies by category
Three distinct questions: authenticity (serial) · integrity (hash) · attribution (leak check).
Integrity verification
ActiveCompare a received file against the registered SHA-256 hash of the protected copy.
SHA-256 hash per copy
ActiveEvery generated copy gets a cryptographic fingerprint of the full file.
Original registration
ActiveMaster file hash recorded at upload — INPI-style reference.
Per-page Merkle tree
ActivePage-level tamper detection via Merkle tree in metadata.
HMAC-SHA256 signature
ActiveCryptographically signed fingerprints — identity cannot be forged.
Public serial code
ActiveVerify authenticity via TD-XXXXXX code without login.
Perceptual hash (SimHash)
ActiveDetects equivalent content after re-save or compression.
20+ protection layers
Each technique adds an independent layer. Combined, they create robust forensic traceability per recipient.
Micro QR Code
Unique QR code per recipient, embedded at minimal size in strategic positions.
Nearly invisible (< 0.5cm)Micro-Text
Text at 1-2pt with the recipient identifier, distributed along margins and between paragraphs.
Invisible without magnificationMicro-Dots
Sub-pixel dots in strategic positions encoding the unique fingerprint of each copy.
Invisible to the naked eyePDF Metadata
Hidden information in the document structure, internal headers and XMP properties.
Hidden in document propertiesDistributed Fingerprint
Fingerprint fragmented across multiple pages with redundancy for tamper resistance.
Distributed and redundantMoiré Pattern
Interference pattern in the document background that encodes unique data per copy.
Invisible on screen, detectable on scanAdditional layers at Advanced and Maximum levels — steganography, content stream reorder, serial codes and more.
Same look, unique binary per recipient
TraceDocuments reorders the PDF's internal structure (xref shuffling) on every copy. The visible content is identical, but the MD5 hash changes — making it impossible to identify the leak source from the file alone.
Shuffled copy for another recipient
Same text, same layout, same page count. But the PDF internal objects were reordered, producing a completely different MD5. If this copy leaks, we know exactly who received it.
Other visible layers available
Visible watermark with recipient name
Usage instructions and legal notice page
Protection against copy, print and selection
Download sample PDFs
Static files to compare MD5 hashes and binary structure across copies.
Original (reference)
Baseline PDF without shuffling — use as visual and hash reference.
Shuffled copy
Same visible content, different internal structure (distinct MD5).
Basic protection
Demonstration metadata at Basic level.
Advanced protection
Extra simulated layers at Advanced level.
What changes in your document?
100% Invisible
Fingerprints do not alter the visual appearance or readability of the document.
Unique per recipient
Each downloaded copy has a unique combination of fingerprints.
Fully traceable
If a copy leaks, we identify the exact recipient who received it.
Tamper resistant
Multiple layers survive print, scan, screenshot and PDF conversion.
